Thursday, December 15, 2022 –President William Ruto had to mention Azimio la Umoja coalition leader in their ongoing World Leader’s Summit in Washington DC.

He proved to the world leaders that, unlike many African countries, today, Kenya’s elections take place and end in complete peace.

The head of State who is accompanied by his Chief Minister Musalia Mudavadi, Foreign Affairs CS Alfred Mutua among many other State official argued that it couldn’t have been easy and the same with other African nations where an election outcome is never accepted; what culminates into fights and constant wrangles that end up destabilizing their economies.

“With Capital, you have a partner in Africa because Africa presents a huge market, labour that is generated by young and innovative youths.

“My competitor who I ran against, who ran against me 2 months ago is in the meeting to demonstrate that we are a Democratic Country,” Ruto said in the Summit.

Delivering his maiden speech that focused on Agriculture as well as Technology in Africa, Ruto also urged the West to feel free investing in the African continent and, in particular Kenya, because of its maturity.

“We reiterate that Kenya is open for partnership and business. We invite U.S. tech firms — and other multinationals — to pursue the emerging investment prospects in our country’s Silicon Savannah for our shared prosperity,” the president added.

The country’s boss reaffirmed his commitment to have in place a strong opposition that is going to check on his government excesses.
