Friday, January 20, 2023 –To access Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education KCSE 2022 results, parents and students can visit the KNEC official portal as well through an SMS.
Releasing the 2022 results at a brief event held at Mtihani House Nairobi on Friday January 20, Education Cabinet Secretary, Ezekiel Machogu, clarified that the procedure of checking the results had not changed.
CS Machogu said sending the student’s details like index number accompanied with initials KCSE to 20076 will return exact results of the student.
He added that the initials KCSE must be in capital letters and there should be no space between the index number and KCPE. E.g 00000000000KCSE.
The SMS applies to all mobile network service providers – Safaricom, Aitel, Telkom – which will charge sh 25 for each SMS.
And to access the results via the KNEC official portal, one must be connected to the internet and click on the year the candidate sat for the exam. In this case, select 2022.
Follow this with his or her index number then press the submit button. The results will be returned on the screen within a few seconds of waiting.
