Wednesday, January 25, 2023 – Azimio la Umoja coalition boss Raila Odinga has visited George Magoha’s family in Nairobi to condole with them.

On Wednesday January 25 afternoon, Mr. Odinga together with a few friends marched into Magoha’s city home where they spend time with the bereaved family.

Hon. Raila could be seen consoling Dr Barbara Odudu Magoha – wife to Prof Magoha – in their living room as other family members and visitors looked on.

“We will remember him for his incredible intellect, wit, and ability to inspire and challenge us to do our best. My condolences go out to his family and colleagues. May he Rest In Eternal Peace,” Odinga stated.

The Azimio boss went on to describe the surgery professor as a transformational, illustrious scholar, dedicated public servant, and distinguished medical doctor who left an indelible mark on nation’s education system.

Magoha had served in Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration as Cabinet Secretary for Education; a position he utilized to reduce examination cheating.
