Sunday, January 29, 2023 –Opposition leader Raila Odinga has continued with his onslaught on the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC.

Addressing at their Jacaranda rally organized today Sunday January 29 afternoon, a daring Odinga listed three IEBC commissioners who paid him a visit seeking for bribes so that to announce him the winner.

In a blow-by-blow account, the opposition honcho named commissioners Wafula Chebukati, Abdi Guliye and Boya Molu who reportedly paid him a visit just before announcing the August 9 election winner at the Bomas of Kenya.

He threatened to publish evidence of both videos and photos showing the three sitting in his house waiting to be bribed.

“Chebukati stated that some people tried to bribe him..also, Guliye and Molu. Ask them what did they come to ask me when they visited my house. Inform them that I have photos and I can expose them,” Odinga charged as the crowd cheered on.

He also disclosed unknown details about the relationship between Court of Appeal Judge Aggrey Muchelule who is the presiding judge in the tribunal interrogating the four dissenting commissioners.

“Should I expose to the public that Muchelule and Chebukati married from the same side meaning they are brothers-in-law alongside Wetangula? Raila posed.

Odinga recounted warning Irene Masit against facing the commission since it was a one-sided organization whose sole agenda is to destroy the opposition.

“They placed a tribunal to prosecute Cherera and her friends, Irene Masit stated that she would stand trial. I informed Masit that she is like a sheep going to a pack of hyenas,” Odinga recounted.

He, therefore, fired a warning shot at Kenya Kwanza government of William Ruto which he now wants to force out of power should it remain adamant in office.

The ex-premier demanded Ruto out of Statehouse and proposed that the United Nations UN be brought into the country so that to audit the August 9 election records.

“We are calling for the UN to send inspectors to Kenya in the next two weeks or else Kenyans will take action themselves.

“Tell Ruto that he doesn’t know us, go and ask (the late Daniel) Moi about us. We want Kenyans to stand strong. We will go to Machakos, Nakuru, Kisumu, Mombasa Kiambu Garissa, Isiolo, and Turkana and then come back here to Nairobi. Are you ready?” Raila posed amidst a hyped crowd.

Raila lined up other subsequent top-notch rallies in Kakamega, Kibera, Machakos and several other parts of the country before returning to Nairobi where he will hold the ‘mother of all events’.
