Tuesday, February 21, 2023 -William Ruto will anytime from now be making official names of those he wants to make Chief Administrative Secretaries CASs in his government.
The list of short listed names is out with renowned public figures -allies – of the president dominating the list.
Some of these names inlude digital strategist Dennis Itumbi, former Soy Member of Parliament MP Caleb Kositany, and City Bishop Margaret Wanjiru.
Others are politicians Milicent Omanga, Cate Waruguru, Adelina Mwau, and former Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala.
Courts gave greenlight to the head of State to go ahead and appoint CASs even after the same courts had earlier regarded the positions as illegal. The case had been petitioned by the Law Society of Kenya LSK.
Ruto will, therefore, be free to pick his loyalists to work in various State departments.
