Sonko Secures Admission for a Needy Girl at State House High

Wednesday, March 8, 2023 –Former Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has finally met with a needy girl, Margret Koki, from Ekalakala, Matuu.

The needy student who scored 372 marks in the 2022 KCPE exams at Ikombe Primary School, was stranded at home for lack of school fees since her parent – single mother – was unable meet her high school needs despite joining date passing.

Mr. Sonko was on Tuesday, March 7, elated to finally find the girl after he had urged members of the public to link her to him for the help.

“Finally, I personally Secured Form One Admission for a needy girl Margret Koki at State House Girls. Margaret Koki who hails from Ekalakala, matuu scored 372 marks in the 2022 KCPE exams at Ikombe Primary School but was stranded at home coz her jobless single mother was unable,” he updated after their meeting.

Sonko got a clue of the girl on Tuesday March 7 after a source had sent him the distressful video clip showing the girl pleading for public help.

“I have just come across this video, can the parents of this bright girl who has been called to Statehouse Girls reach out to my office immediately and not later than today. This girl must go to school today, we have to support the future generation who are leaders of tomorrow,”  he tweeted.

Some of the social media users, however, cemented on the move describing the politician as a person who is not truthful since he seemingly likes seeking attention.

“You love soo much attention and yet you can’t even pay your employees salaries – Fake Guy,” Kilifonian exposed the politician.

Jack Maina would quickly look at things differently and advised the former County boss to start a foundation that well-wishers can channel funds to help such needy cases in the society.

Mike Sonko is not new to this lifestyle since he has been on record helping not only former boxer Conjestina Achieng but also several other needy cases around the country.

He has also adopted several other suffering kids who have no parents.
