Friday, March 17, 202 –The State has reportedly started deploying rapid Deployment Unit officers around the Statehouse as the opposition’s mass action D-day nears.
A post made by Kileleshewa Member of County Assembly MCA Robert Alai on Friday March 17 morning indicated that all roads leading to the Statehouse had been barricaded with lorries full of police officers.
He described this as a sign of cowardliness from the side of the government happening even before the Monday March 20 downpour.
“Cowards have poured RDU all over. Radius of 2km from State House has police deployments. These are cowards. Never seen a more fearful regime. Even filling parastatals with tribesmen is a sign of insecurity. Maandamano Lazima!” he wrote on his socials.
Other Kenyans observed that the police officers were now going to be misused by a leadership which had stolen billions from Kenyans.
“Huwa nashangaa na Kenya Police. Get paid 20k to guard someone who has stolen billions in months and earns 1.4M per month. Then unarudi kwako na 20k yako kulia about high cost of living,” Martin Katienya indicated.
Kaboggo Yao quickly differed with the rest saying government of the day has to be respected and if pushed to the wall, it acts.
“Cowards ni nyinyi kwani ni wajaluo pekee ndo prices mumeongezewa ….other Kenyans are calm and working hard,”Kaboggo Yao told off Alai.
On his part, one Just Ayub advised President Ruto to send General Service Unit GSU to put Raila under a weekend-long house arrest.
