“If he attempts to contest me in 2027, he may end up going to the ballot without even a single agent,” he cautioned.
Meanwhile, National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula has confessedhow Azimio leader Raila Odinga is a very popular leader on the ground but quite disorganized during elections.
In a statement on Thursday March 23, Wetang’ula was quoted by the Star saying that Raila should blame himself for the loss in the 2022 August polls.
“Raila Odinga is my friend. We formed CORD with him and then formed NASA together. I know how he loses elections. He is very popular on the ground but very disorganised and has only himself to blame for his loss in August 2022,” the speaker said.
Wetang’ula spoke this when he hosted the Norwegian Ambassador to Kenya, Gunnar Holm, with whom they shared a discussion on the effect of Azimio’s demonstrations in the country.
