Friday, April 28, 2023 -Opposition leader Raila Odinga has landed in the country through the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport JKIA.
Odinga, on landing, was received by his top defenders Martha Karua as well as Kalonzo Musyoka. Also present was Jubilee Party Vice Chairman David Murathe among others.

Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party made the updated on all its walls saying their leader was ready to start his rallies against the government despite the threats from the ruling side.
“Raila Odinga has jetted back in the country from a week-long break in the UAE. He is scheduled to lead other Azimio leaders to a major rally at Kamkunji grounds in Kibera this afternoon,” ODM wrote.
On his part, Raila who had indicated his readiness to lead his troops back to the streets following failed talks with the regime, noted today that he was in good mood to be back.
“Touchdown in Nairobi! It’s an amazing feeling to be back home,” he said adding that everything will now be decided by the people.
And speaking today Friday April 28 elsewhere, President William Ruto who was accompanied by his supporters, warned the opposition against marching back to the streets.

“I am the President of this country, I will not allow anybody to start destroying other peoples’ properties anywhere. I will deal with you. Enough is enough,” he charged.
President Ruto went on to welcome the Opposition to resolve issues as per the Constitution.
