Saturday, May 27, 2023 –Rogue Kilifi-based Pastor and founder at Good News International Church, Pastor Paul Mackenzie, fed well his many bouncers at Shakahola Farm to help him monitor and, at times, execute stubborn worshipers.

In his Friday May 26 Parliamentary submission while appearing before the Committee on the Proliferation of Religious Organisations in the country, Interior Cabinet Secretary Prof. Kithure Kindiki divulged disturbing details on what has been happening within the Forest where Mackenzie lived.

During his(Kindiki’s) recent ground visit, he noted that Mackenzie treated his tens of bouncers well and made sure they have an elaborate daily menu like that served in royal hotels in the cities.

The team based at Shakahola had special menu that comprised meals, fruits and variety of energy drinks to keep them fit so that to offer him security and to also monitor stubborn worshipers who could give up with deadly fasting.

These meals consisted of Carbohydrates, Proteins and Vitamins and they were of high quality standards like that prepared in 3-Star hotels.

“But in the process, they are just cooking all manners of food. In fact, in one structure, we found a very organised menu running from Monday to Monday.

“Three meals and well balanced. It is like a three-star hotel menu and apparatus for cooking were available there, showing they were eating a balanced diet,” Prof Kindiki divulged further.

These bouncers, Kindiki reported, would help strangle some of the victims who would take long to die during the fasting period.

“Mackenzie had employed armed criminals to supervise starvation; if anyone changed their mind, they would be strangled, clobbered, or otherwise killed,” he stated.

The well-built scouts and bouncers were strategically stationed around the Forest with cooking jikos near gravesides so that to keep vigil of those fasting.

“They would dig graves in advance and then prepare people to starve to death, and if, for whatever reason, you change your mind or you are taking too long, they would kill you,” he further alleged.

In his radical teachings as seen in his online videos, Mr. Mackenzie would convince his brainwashed followers that the world would end in June 2023 and, therefore, death was coming and it would be proper if they died fasting for God rather than enjoying the Worldly life.

The findings by Kindiki mirrored exactly what official government pathologist, Dr. Johansen Odour, had stated during his examination on the victims’ bodies – that some victims were strangled to death.

Paul Mackenzie is still in police custody with his lawyers working all round the clock to secure him freedom on bail terms.
