Friday, June 2, 2023 –Outspoken Vice Chairman United Democratic Alliance UDA Party Mr Seth Panyako has sustained onslaught on President William Ruto.
Just days after announcing his departure from the ruling party, Panyako now accuses President Ruto of being a hands-off man.
He has taken issue with the manner in which the President was casually treating the millions of youths who voted him into office with hopes of getting a solution to their life challenges.
In his latest interview on Spice FM, the vocal nurses boss said he was regretting supporting a regime that can nolonger deliver on simple campaign promises.
He wondered how Ruto could be so disconnected to the masses that made him win the election and, instead, chose to rely on intel from his close cronies who lie to him about the real situation on the ground.
“I am so disappointed, we used to tell that Raila and Uhuru are doing politics of conmanship but now this government is worse. Its displaying high-level conmaship
“If you are the president, go and see with your own eyes if what you are being told is correct or not. Do not say citizens are saying lies and your officers are telling you the right thing.
“Since when did sh 150 unga sell on shelves?” Panyako stated as per the video shared from Spice FM.
Moreover, the Kenya National Union of Nurses Secretary General wondered why Kenya Kwanza regime which promised to turn around peoples’ lives was now planning to double the taxes to fund unconstitutional offices added at the top.
The trade unionist added that, despite concerns raised by almost three quarters of the country, Dr. Ruto was still pushing the Finance Bill 2023 which, if passed, will worsen the cost of living for poor people.
Speaking in Embu during the Madaraka Day celebration held at Moi Stadium on Thursday June 1, President Ruto remained firm that the tax plan in the next Finance Bill stands as planned and stated that, on matters housing levy, jobs and improved living standards will be realised for every Kenyan.
