Taking to his official socials on Friday June 30, the CS noted with concern that his ministry will be delivering a comprehensive statement on the saddening incident.
He updated that join rescue mission was already at the scene to try and save the few victims who were still trapped.
“Rescue efforts are underway involving officers from various agencies of national and county governments, elected leaders, the Redcross and other well-wishers. More information will be shared with the public.

Other Kenyans took issue with the Kenya National Highway Authority KeNAH for their poor road designs that put lives of motorist to danger.
“I keep saying most of fatal accidents in Kenya today KeNHA is a shareholder contributor. Poorly designed sign post or no sign post, repairing roads these days is a joke, there are no designated areas far away from road for public to either walk in safety or sell without interfering with transportation. Everything has been grabbed and encroachment is the order of the day.
“The transport ministry should work closely with counties government agencies to move people away from main roads and it should be a serious law enforcement but we have crooks in offices. We are losing Kenyans every single day in this country,” Boby commented.
Social media user Abuga Makori, on his part, absolved Transport Ministry on this one saying accidents such as this had happened before.
The Londiani multiple car crash occurred on Friday June 30 evening with police confirming that it had claimed several lives adults and children.
