Sunday, July 9, 2023 –Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka was today spotted in a meeting with Bunge la Wananchi youth members Utawala Chapter.
In the photos seen by Homenews.co.ke writer, the Azimio co-principal was seen sited in a round-table discussion with a section of youth from the Bunge la Wananchi led by Calvin Okoth or Gaucho who disclosed his highly discussed fallout with part of Azimio leadership.
“My problems in Azimio started the same day former President Uhuru Kenyatta promised me lunch. Some people around Baba could not let this happen,” he opened up.
He would later on make a confirmation that he had a good time having a leadership discussion with the youth.
“Later in the afternoon, we joined the Mbunge La Wananchi – Utawala Chapter for a real conversation about the state of Kenya. The interaction with the residents of Utawala was inspiring on many fronts. The learning from and sharing of ideas with our people was God blessed,” Kalonzo stated.
Mr. Kalonzo joined the youth immediately after he attended Sunday’s service at the Missioners of Hope Christ Ministries in Utawala, Embakasi East Constituency, Nairobi.
The Wiper Party leader has been a discussion on both social and mainstream media after he held a simultaneous peaceful anti-government protest in Machakos County during the July 7 Saba Saba demonstrations.
Sections have hailed the Wiper Party boss for demonstrating that it is possible to have harmless protests in the country.
Azimio leaders adopted a different formula during the Saba Saba march where they split into different groups that covered different Regions at the same time.
As Kalonzo was holding his protests in Machakos, Martha Karua was busy having the same conversation around Mt. Kenya Region as Eugene, Oparanya and Prof. Wajackoyah held a similar exercise around their Western Region.
Their leader Raila Odinga, on the other hand, was with former Murang’a County Governor Mwangi wa Iria in Nairobi where they braved a fierce face-off with law enforcers.
