Sunday, July 16, 2023 –Senator for Siaya Oburu Odinga has warned President William Ruto’s government from attempting to aim at Raila’s life.
Addressing in Siaya County on Saturday July 15, Dr. Oburu said both President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua have intentions to finish the life of Raila.
“Even Gachagua recently announced on Tv that this government wants to deal with Raila conclusively.
“But I warn you Ruto, if you attempt the life of Raila, Kenya will be worse than Ruanda,” he added.
Oburu also alluded to the fact that current Kenya’s development partners are preview to these plans to murder Raila.
The Raila’s elder brother, therefore, warned foreign powers to stop meddling in local politics and affairs because the opposition will not be taking less.
“Keep off our affairs. You are preview to this information and plans to finish Raila but we warn you to stay away our matters,” Dr. Oburu added.
On her part, Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga said, as the opposition, they are prepared for anything and, together with their supporters, the country will finally be liberated.
The opposition-allied politicians are attributing plans to assassinate Mr. Odinga to what Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has endlessly promised.
Gachagua has been on record threatening that the only time this country will have peace is after silencing the opposition leader.
“Let it be what it may. This man with Uhuru Kenyatta must be taught one last lesson. We won’t take it anymore,” Gachagua recently stated.
His sentiments having been backed by Trade and Industrialization Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria and Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei.
On his part, President William Ruto, while on a tour in Tharaka Nithi and Nakuru County this week, said he will nolonger allow any spot of protest in the country this week.
He was responding to announcement made by Azimio bosses that protests will now be taking place three straight day from Wednesday to Friday, every week.
