Saturday, September 9, 2023 –Local Assistant Chief Nicholas Rotich was gifted a brand-new car by area Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi for his good gesture of saving lives.
In a statement from MP Sudi’s communication team, the Assistant Chief had to be rewarded by Sudi following his heartily gesture where he has been helping the community especially accident victims along the busy Nakuru-Eldoret Highway.
In the photos shared by Sudi’s communication officer, Mr. John Macharia, Assistant Chief Nicholas Rotich can be seen all smiles as he is handed a brand-new Toyota Probox car by MP Sudi who is standing close to the pricey gift.
“The Assistant Chief was happy and promised to continue helping the community. He couldn’t believe it.
“He now owns a car,” the Photographer told a local news channel.
The Chief has been key in acts of humanity by facilitating medical attention for road carnage victims.
“There was an incident at Mumberes last month where he helped the victims despite the fact that he didn’t have a vehicle to facilitate transportation of the victims to the local hospital.
“The Assistant Chief also ensured that the documents of the victims remained intact,” Macharia added.
On the other hand, MP Sudi urged the local administrator to continue with the same kindness as this would not only see him respected but also recognized globally by those who are following closely what he is doing on the ground.
He offered to continue supporting the chief so that to make his administrative work a lot easier.
