Friday, September 15, 2023 –Azimio la Umoja Party wing has faulted the current government for making numerous foreign trips at the time the country was suffering with the high cost of living.
Addressing the media from Nairobi today Friday September 15, Mr. Odinga led his troops in calling out the current administration for not moving with speed to save the ailing economy.

Talking on the promises from Kenya Kwanza and the recent signing of oil deals with Gulf nations to reduce pressure on the dollar versus the shilling, Mr. Odinga said the measures being undertaken by the Kenyan government in the guise of saving the falling shilling would yield absolutely nothing.
“They say we are going to do a government-to-government deal and pay for oil in Kenyan shilling. What are the Arabs in the Middle East going to do with Kenyan shilling which is quickly falling and lacking meaning?
