Tuesday, September 26, 2023 –A Kenya Defense Force KDF officer burnt himself to death at Gil Gil Barracks in Nakuru County.

According to reliable sources who spoke to the media, the 36-year-old soldier set his house on fire inside the Gil Gil police camp.

The police report in the O/B 03/25/09/2023, confirmed that the incident broke out in the night after the serviceman had just completed his daily duties.

The fire would prompt his colleagues to act and who rushed to the scene only to find him burning together with his house.

Though, with the help of other officers, they managed to put off the fire, efforts to save the life or any household could not bear fruits.

The victim soldier had been burnt beyond recognition as his households were reduced to mere ashes.

Detectives have already swung into action to unravel the mysterious incident with focus on his mental stability, love triangle or depression.

Earlier hints had hinted at domestic woes coupled with alcoholism.
