Thursday, September 28, 2023 –A church Pastor is trending after locking self in a Lions’ den where nothing happens despite provoking the meat eaters to do something.
While re-enacting the Biblical Daniel who was thrown into the Lions’ den but still survived without any injury, the pastor who was accompanied by his faithful would be seen sited comfortably and playing with the most dangerous creatures on earth.
His followers were outside on the fence watching in shock and some holding prayers as the nerve-wracking cinema rolled on for about fifteen minutes.
Sections of Kenyans have made different comments on the drama with Kasarani Member of Parliament Ronald Karauri, on Wednesday, offering to gift the clergy a trip to Maasai Mara where he can showcase the spiritual theatrics.
“I volunteer to take him to the Masai Mara please all expenses paid. We look for the lions and he can go walk with them,” Karauri offered.
Other sections on social media thought the pastor was only interested in brainwashing his congregants but inside he knows what he had done to protect himself from the animals.
“What is he trying to prove? This looks like a comedy skit to me,” one Sasa commented on the now viral video.
On his part, Kennah on Twitter said, Lions don’t eat people and such theatrics cannot mean anything to the learned.
“Lions don’t eat people Buana where are we heading as a country,” he wrote.
Others would refer to the pastor as a perfect example of pulpit comedians who use caged and tamed beasts to prove his faith to the world
Laws surrounding dangerous animals in the country do not allow persons to access their dens. Management in the parks will block such attempts and if one is found to have breached the guidelines, he or she is charged under animal conservancy laws and or attempted suicide charges.
