“Today, I chaired a Cabinet Sub-Committee meeting at the Official Residence in Karen, Nairobi,” said Gachagua.

The meeting, he clarified centered on their Bottom Up economic plan and transformation through wide consultations touching on bilateral agreements.

“For a People-centred implementation of the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda, through interministerial strategic consultations and review of decisions, this is crucial.

“It allows us to make necessary and timely adjustments for effective and efficient service delivery,” he added.

Gachagua arrived from Germany yesterday afternoon even as his boss President William Ruto was hosting King Charles III with wife Camilla at the State house Nairobi.

Ruto invited the opposition leader Raila Odinga who was seen happily mingling with other Kenya Kwanza leaders.

Ruto, instead, chose to temporarily designate Musalia Mudavadi in the role of DP Gachagua who was not in the vicinity.

“I accompanied King Charles III to the Commonwealth War Cemetery in Nairobi’s Kariokor area, where he laid a wreath in honor of Kenyans who fought alongside the British in the world wars,” Mudavadi noted yesterday.

King Charles III used the opportunity to voice his deepest regret for the colonial violence inflicted on Kenyans during the struggle for independence.

He stated that, though a lot had happened between the UK and Kenya, it is now time to forge forward for the betterment of future generations.
