By Friday, no teacher at Muslim Primary School in Mumias, Kakamega County could share the exact NEC results for ODM diehard Nuru Okanga’s 2023 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE).
The teacher who volunteered to address the Okanga matter, told a local channel that they had not accessed the results. Also, Okanga, who sat the exam as a special student, confirmed on Thursday that the exam results were not his accusing the media of propagating lies
“You, the media, and people put my results online. You never asked me what I got!” Okanga replied to Mwaka’s insistent questioning of his results.
Okanga who also appeared on NTV on Thursday hosted by Frida Mwaka, seemed struggling to reveal his index number leave alone the results.
“Who has the Index of Okanga,” Mwaka would be heard asking from colleagues who, in response, told her to press Okanga for the number.
The index number shared online with 401 marks, starting with Mathematics, and that shared by the teacher were similar.
However, Okanga, twice shared a different index number from the one with 401 marks, despite playing cagey with the marks, sometimes claiming to have scored the results.
