Wednesday, November 29, 2023 –Outspoken Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah has blasted President William Ruto’s administration over its plans to auction important land mark infrastructure in the country.
Speaking to Kenyawide.com on Wednesday November 29, Omtatah noted with concern that the current Kenya’s president was now worshiping the West at the expense of Kenyans.
He argued that President William Ruto has already surrendered Kenya and his livelihood to both the International Monetary Fund IMF and the World Bank for survival.
“The President has seemingly surrendered his life to the IMF and World Bank to get us as a client state to the two organisations.
“Soon we will be moving around with a beggar’s bowl begging for support all over the world. And this is how we are going to become a permanent client state to the West,” Omtatah said.
The independent politician cautioned that, should this not be corrected this early, Ruto is going to plunge the country into U.S full control; what he argued is not a very good way of managing the country.
The first-time senator added that, currently, every investor is fleeing the country because the cost of production and running any business is now out of reach.
“Ruto is empty and now wants the West to fully control us. Today as we speak, production is too expensive in Kenya,” Added the senator elected on an independent ticket.
Omtatah noted further that, just one year after the new administration took power, every sector is falling down at a higher rate.
He listed health, education and transport as the areas currently facing a lot of challenges under William Ruto’s watch.
According to Omtatah everyone including his(Ruto’s) own allies will run away from him because of mismanagement of the country.
But speaking two days ago, President Ruto promised to fix the country through difficult decisions.
Currently, his government wants to sell out the iconic Kenyatta International Convention Center KICC, Kenya Pipeline among many other State-owned corporations.
This, Omtatah says will see Ruto soon forced out of office through a motion of impeachment.
