Tuesday, December 19, 2023 -Kakamega Senator Dr. Boni Khalwale has condemned Catholic Pope Francis for allowing same sex relationship.
In a statement released on Tuesday, December 19, Khalwale noted that the once cherished religion of Catholics is losing respect by preaching same sex marriage which he claims is against the Bible teachings.
The vocal lawmaker added that the Catholic religion was started in Kenya and the aim was not to mislead the followers.
He said culture, as it was and as it is today, does not allow same sex marriage in Kenya and most parts of Africa.
“The Catholic Church was established in Luhyialand first at Mumias in 1904 and shortly after at Mukumu in 1906. Its evangelism was not only a success but also a hit majorly because of its respect for our values,” Khalwale added in his Tuesday remarks.
“Now, the Pope wants us to celebrate homosexuality, completely contrary to our culture and strong family values! A toll order!”
Pope Francis, yesterday Monday, okayed lesbianism and gaysm in church and directed all pastors around the world to allow the culture to thrive in church.
