Sunday, February 25, 2024 -A man in Kisii County is cooling his heels at the Nyakoe Police Station after he was discovered to have been masquerading as a female waiter in a local hotel.
The man has been disguising self as a beautiful lady waiter in the hotel and, in the process, stealing pricey items from customers who book rooms in the facility.
It was reported by two k/m/a namely Wilfred Machoka Miruka of mobile no. 0724*** and Edwin Omwenga of mobile no. 0728***both from Nyamataro Area that one of the customers forgot his phone at the hotel in Nyamataro map ref. xq959319 about 6KM North of the police post.
And upon realising the missing phone, he rushed back to the hotel and one waiter whom he suspected to have taken the phone denied seeing the gadget and after further interrogation she decided to run take off.
As she was taking off, she was chased by members of the public who managed to arrest her and recovered the said phone.
After arresting the suspect, keen members of the public discovered that the suspect has been disguising as a female yet he is a male.
The suspect was immediately escorted to Nyakoe Police post whereby, upon further interrogation, it was established that his real name is one Felix Okemwa Morienga aged 19 years.
He has been carrying himself as a female by putting on female clothes and using female name Felister to make ends meet.
Police at the station would be seen peeling off his clothes one after another to try and ascertain his natural sex.
