Friday, March 22, 2024 –Jacob Maunda aka Shatta Bway has moved to Cape Media just days after quitting Royal Media Services RMS.
Radio47 which is owned by Cape Media made the announcement today Friday March 22, saying the media professional had officially joined their growing family and will run shows on radio.
“Shatta Bway joins Cape Media Limited; he will be the Director of Projects and Strategy for Maybets as well as TV47 and Radio47 host,” read the statement in part.
Confirming this by himself, the youthful media personality, through a brief video recording, on social media, asked fans to move with him to the new destination.
“Where I am at in life, I am making decisions as two parents. I have to think like a mother and as a father and I need time with my children.
“My son is a teenager aged 13 years old and that is the point a parent is like to lose their children unknowingly,” he stated.
He has, therefore, joined Willis Raburu who moved to the media last year and currently hosts a youthful show dubbed Wabebe Xperince. The show takes place every Friday night.
“It is a huge day today as Team CapeMedia and our affiliate brands! Ladies and gentlemen, first I’m super thrilled to announce that my brother Shatta Bway is home, as Director of Strategy and Projects for Maybets and host for Tv47 news and radio,” Raburu noted.
The two will also be serving as directors given that Raburu is the current Director of Digital Services and Innovations at Cape Media.
