Monday, April 29, 2024 -Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu has postponed to May 6 when schools across the country should be reopened.
In a notice dated Monday April 29, the CS noted that school opening dates had been postponed to May 6, due to the ongoing severe floods.
The CS stated that the ministry had made the decision after receiving reports that most schools in the country had been adversely affected by the heavy downpour.
Mr Machogu extended the opening dates just hours before schools officially reopened on April 29.
