Tuesday, April 29, 2024 –Willis Raburi has resigned from Tv 47 just nine months after landing an appointment there.
Biding farewell to his fans today Tuesday April 30, Raburu sent heartfelt gratitude to his media family across; saying it is through their support that he has been able to succeed in his tv career.
“As I bid farewell to the TV47 family, I am filled with a sense of pride and gratitude for the remarkable growth we’ve achieved together over the past few months,” part of his farewell message read.
The renowned Tv host leaves Cape Media which owns both TV & Radio 47 months after appointment as Director of Digital Services and Innovation.
Also in the farewell message, Mr. Raburu wishes his now former colleagues well assuring them of any support if they need him.
Before joining Cape Media, he worked, for years, at Citizen Tv where he ran a youthful entertainment show dubbed 10-over-10.
He also had a stint at City Hall after Governor Johnson Sakaja appointed him as the chair of the Nairobi Festival Committee.
At CNN, he will be joining Larry Madowo together with former colleague Victoria Rubadiri who has also been welcomed at the CNN today.
