Friday, May 17, 2024 –Professor Mutahi Nginyi has warned the Agikuyu community against formation of new outfits in the name of unity.
Taking to his popular social handles today Friday May 17, the political analyst said, the Limuru 3 which was orgainsed by a section of dissenting politicians from the Mountain could trigger a similar action from the rest of the 43 tribes around the country against the Kikuyu community.
He argued that the 43 tribes of Kenya are watching keenly and, if they decided to retaliate, the people to feel the heat will be the Kikuyus.
“Dear Kikuyus: You can unite as much as you want at Limuru 3. But the 43 tribes of Kenya can also unite behind Ruto without you. why? I warned Ruto that: “…You cannot buy a Kikuyu: You can only rent one”. You are unreliable and ungrateful. Country will unite against you. Ask why,” he commented.
The professor said this today Friday May 17 following a meeting orgainsed by Martha Karua and her group and which was attended my thousands of Kikuyu leaders and residents.
In the Limuru III rally, it was agreed that a new outfit dubbed HAKI Coalition will be ready to champion for the needs of their community under the guidance of retired President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The meeting today saw leaders among them outspoken Githunguri Member of Parliament Gathoni Wamuchaomba dare the ruling party to remove her from the party so that she can seek a fresh mandate from supporters.
Together with fellow leaders, they agreed to rally their Kikuyu community to withdraw support from the Kenya Kwanza adminitration saying it was a flop especially when it comes to addressing their concerns.
