Sunday, June 9, 2024 –Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has today confirmed hitches in his movement around the country.
Infront of his boss Dr. William Ruto today Sunday June 9, The DP complained that his delay in arriving in Nakuru for the Akorino Annual Prayer Conference 2024 was because there were problems in his transportation means.
He defended that he is a disciplined State officer who has never wronged his bosses since the time he joined government and that what happened today was caused by poor transportation plans on the side of William Ruto’s government.
That coupled with poor weather, he had to arrive in Nakuru late when his boss was already sited in the church event.
“My boss William Ruto, I am sorry and as you have known me for long, I have been the most disciplined State official all through because I have a background in civil service where I used to wear uniform to report at work.
“I had to delay not because of my own making but because there were hitches in transportation means. However, I thank you for presiding over this noble event,” he said as the church clapped hands.
Gachagua, through a private chopper, arrived late in the event, what forced area Governor Susan Kihika to receive the head of State on behalf of the DP.
The government joined the Akorino faithful in Nakuru for their Annual Prayer Conference 2024 held at Nakuru Boys’ High School, Nakuru County.
