Monday, June 24, 2024 – A section of government officials now claim foreign hand is in the ongoing Gen Z demonstrations across the country.

Government spokesman Isaac Mwaura, while speaking in a meeting on Sunday in Nairobi, insinuated that the young men and women currently on the streets are fueled and funded by foreign agencies, countries and cartels which have invaded the country through NGOs

“They are some genuine people in this but when I look well from far there must be a foreign hand in this whole issue.

“President has spoken a lot of issues about foreign policies saying we take care of climate change. That is something we need to have a robust conversation with at the global level. Some people from overseas maybe they don’t like this talk. He has rallied the whole of Africa and some people don’t like that as well.

Recently, Ruto also called out Russia invasion in Ukraine saying it is disturbing for us to get quality wheat from Russia and some people are not happy with it also,” added Mwaura in his conversation.

The Spokesman noted further that Ruto, against the wishes of foreign powers, agitated about new Africa infrastructure and dolarisation and loan being lend to Africa saying the continent should have its own financial institution like the World Bank and IMF to avoid ballooning debts from Foreign agencies.

“We need to be very careful about what we think and talk against this government because our president is forthright,” added Mwaura.

And speaking elsewhere, embattled United Democratic Movement UDA Party Secretary General Cleophas Malala accused un-nnamed foreign businessmen for funding the ongoing Gen Z protests saying they have invaded the country through using Kenyan youths so that to curtail the Finance Bill which seeme to bar them from conduction their exportation business to Kenya.

Malala claimed that the foreigners funding this chaos fear that the Finance Bill 2024 will frustrate their businesses and, therefore, they want the Bill stopped through pressure from the young men and women.
