Saturday, June 29, 2024 –Plans to force Lawyer Miguna Miguna into exile have emerged amid protests against government.
The Kenyan born Canadian lawyer, on Friday June 28, exposed a section of National Intelligence Service NIS officials who have been sending him threatening messages of abduction, torture and forced exile.
In the statement shared with the public, Dr. Miguna asked President William Ruto to tame NIS officials and stop them from issuing threats to hims life.
This, Miguna noted, makes him even stronger by hardening him to call out evils perpetrated by the Kenya Kwanza regime.
“Ruto, tell your NIS dogs that threatening me with abduction, torture and forced exile HARDENS me and causes me to fearlessly champion for your removal,” stated Miguna
The self-proclaimed general added that, he doesn’t negotiate over his rights to live in and outside the country and that no amount of threats will deter him from speaking what he thinks is right and denouncing the wrong.
“I don’t buy fear. I don’t negotiate over my rights, especially with those who murder unarmed citizens,” also said Miguna.
The lawyer has been calling out President William Ruto over bad leadership by asking him to resign for misleading the country. Miguna’s bone of contention is the Finance Bill 2024 which he asked the president to withdraw and announce an immediate resignation from office.
The lawyer speaking this just a day after Ruto, for another time, assured the country that there will be no more abductions, torture and extra-judicial killings under his watch.
