Friday, July 19, 2024 –Cabinet Secretary Defence Aden Duale has broken his silence after President William Ruto nominated him back to the Cabinet.
Mr. Duale has said that this nomination by the head of State, today Friday July 19, shows that the president and the people of Kenya still have trust in his leadership style.
He mentioned further that he is committed to advancing this nation’s interests and agenda so that to foster national security despite the existing and ever-emerging challenges.
“This nomination reflects the President’s and the Kenyan people’s profound trust and confidence in my ability to advance our nation’s agenda and more particularly the national security of our nation hence contribute to its greatness.
“Am ready and willing to present myself to the National Assembly relevant committee for vetting and public scrutiny,” stated Duale in a statement he shared today.
Another lucky nominee Soipan Tuya also thanked President William Ruto for the nomination saying she is dedicated to deliver in the Environment, Climate Change and Forestry

for granting me a second chance to serve our country in matters Environment, Climate Change and Forestry!
“I wholly commit to serve with commitment & dedication, upon confirmation,” Soipan Tuya.
Also on the lucky first list was Davis Chirchir who has made a come back as Roads and Transport Cabinet Secretary. in the last cabinet, he was the Energy cabinet secretary.
