High tempo politics picks 17 months to elections

Wednesday, February 3, 2021 -The ongoing high tempo political rivalry in the country can be so worrying that this is happening when elections are 17 months away.

Deputy President William Ruto and former Premier Raila Odinga are already out there putting together their troupes ready for the duel that may still end being a 2022 two horse race.

Ruto has been all over the country since he was elected; while Odinga on the other hand gave this chase a pause in the name of Handshake but it seems time for Tangatanga to continue to enjoy  free playing field is over and Odinga’s army is currently gathering momentum to undo all the damage Ruto had caused.

That said however, the chaos witnessed in Kisii were unwarranted but I would say DP’s team, forgive, is becoming immature every day. Why? Because a week ago when Odinga and his ODM brigade were in Githura, their convoy was stoned by youth believed to have been fueled and sponsored by the Tanga tanga allied politicians. Unfortunately, they didn’t know they were rattling the bad men in Kenyan politics just like Mr. George Aladwa said on Tuesday February 2nd that “ODM has ungazzeted Barracks”. They know when, where and how to respond to attacks because these are guys who are suicidal especially if their past history of campaigns is anything to go by.

In Kisiii though MP Simba Arati was going overboard, but this again was because Osoro had blasted Odinga, it was the DPs men who stood on their feet first, walked to straight to meet the bullet themselves.

Both South Mugirango MP Silvanus Osoro and Nominated Senator Millicent Omanga were then left bruised.

It goes without saying, the first person to always throw a jab during a debate must be weak in both reasoning and fighting.
