What Next for Ruto After Kuria Heckling in Murang’a?

Chrispen

Senior Economic Advisor in President William Ruto’s government Moses Kuria was heckled by mourners in Murang’a County today Saturday November 23.

This occured when the politician pronounced President William Ruto’s name in the burial event.

Kuria faced a further backlash when he insisted on going on with his speech, what forced one of the presiding pastors to throw in a hymn song to balance the heckling that was picking and building up.

Area governor Irungu Kang’ata would attempt to intervene asking locals to calm down so that he could read for them the president’s speech but this could only worsen things as the mourners went laud with boeing.

From the scenes that occured today, any political pundit will advise President William Ruto to retreat tactically and assess his next move. The ground is not only hostile in Mt. Kenya worsened by the recent removal of Mr. Rigathi Gachagua from office but also hostile because of the many leadership blunders in the current administration.

Well, the heckling could also be promoted by funding from politicians who are allied to Gachagua since this is not something new in Kenyan politics.

And if true that Mt. Kenya has nothing again to do with Ruto, then the head of State has an alternative to stick with Raila Odinga who could save his stay in power beyond 2027 due to his euphoric following.

Obviously, Ruto has many alternatives away from Mt. Kenya Region which believes that it owns the presidency for life and can take it and give it away at will.

Sadly, Ruto and Raila together, can tell the Mountain bye bye until we meet again.
