Embattled Rigathi Gachagua has today accused his former boss William Ruto of wielding the Word of God to win Mt. Kenya votes in the last general election.
Speaking on Sunday in a local church service, Gachagua described Ruto as a deceitful politician who will be fought on the ballot so that again he doesn’t return to office.
“We have now seen Ruto’s true colours. Initially, he came to us with the Bible, making it difficult to know him,” Rigathi Gachagua claimed.
According to the ousted DP, Kikuyus wasted their votes on a thankless man who has now turned against them.
He also lauded those who heckled Deputy President Kithure Kindiki and economic advisor Moses Kuria in a funeral service held in Murang’a yesterday, Saturday.
Mr. Gachagua reminded Ruto and his cronies that he had warned them never to interfere with ‘the Mountain’ because any such attempt has dire consequences.
