Embattled former second in command Rigathi Gachagua has said he dealt with President William Ruto foolishly.
In his night interview on Ntv with Mr. Karanja on Sunday December 2, Gachagua said he believed and trusted that Dr. Ruto will deliver on all his promises both to the people and close friends only for the president to do the opposite after taking charge.
Gachagua, when asked if he ever regrets campaigning for Ruto, said he supported him as a Christian but given another chance, he would deal with him as a politician.
He listed things such as abductions going on in the country and which he confesses confronting Ruto with but, instead, the president denied their existence.
“I sat my boss down and told him in the face that people are being abducted from their homes, work places and highways but he denied any knowledge.
“If you are not involved in abducting kenyans, then arrest those who are involved”.
On the new health scheme SHA, Gachagua took issue with Mr. Moses Kuria saying it is reckless for the advisor to the president to warn parents and innocent kids of dire consequences if they do not enrol for SHA something that is still shrouded in complete mystery.
Mr. Gachagua argued that if the health program is good and well packaged for use then people will volunteer themselves. There is no need to exert force to citizens when the program is of benefit.
