Talented Hip hop rapper King Kaka, formerly Rabbit, and Nana Owiti have announced their official separation after their 13-years of marriage.
Taking to his social media X page on Tuesday, King Kaka revealed the news stating that the decision to part ways was not an easy one, though necessary.
“We honestly never thought we would one day write a statement like this but life happens. After much reflection and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to end our relationship,” the statement read in part.
The rapper who has been in a relationship with Nana Owiti for over 13 years stated that, despite the break up, they will still be able to recount the countless memories they have shared.
“Over the course of 13 years, we have shared countless memories, built a life together, and most importantly raised three incredible children who will always be our top priority,” Kaka Empire founder remarked in the statement.
King Kaka attributed this to the fact that, as public figures in the community, their life might attract attention but they urged members of the public to accord them the required privacy during this transition period.
“This decision was not made lightly and we remain deeply committed to maintaining a respectful and supportive relationship as we move forward separately. As public figures, we recognise that our personal lives may attract attention but we kindly ask for privacy and understanding during this time as we navigate this transition as a family,” King Kaka revealed.
The Ligi Sooo hitmaker stated also that, even after their split, their main focus would be co-parenting their three kids with love, stability and respect.
