Newly-sworn in United States of America administration has agreed to close down USAID offices, worldwide.
In a new measure to cut down of spending, Donald Trump’s government through DOGE(Department of Government Expenditures) wing which is led by tech mogul Elon Musk, has planned to halt any further funding to the global aid organization, USAID.
Asked about it, billionaire Musk told reporters that President Trump had given the move a node and wants it closed as soon as possible.
President Trump, while commenting on the issue, explained that he is happy with what Elon was doing to reduce government wastage on unnecessary activities.
Trump, infact, referred to Elon as a good cost-cutter who he may not like all the time what he does and may not go where he wants, but that his work is good for the American people.
