Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has described Mike Mbuvi Sonko as a very generous leader who deserved not to be impeached from the County.
Speaking on Citizen Tv with Jeff Koinage on Wednesday night, Owino explained that Sonko’s generosity is unmatched in the country as he has helped so many hopeless families solve their financial challenges.
He added that the latest case of Sonko helping a distressed boy in Nairobi is where the boy’s father was stabbed to death before Sonko ran to adopt the kid.
On Evans Kidero leadership, MP Babu said Kidero was not re-elected in Nairobi County in 2017 because he did not meet the expectations of Nairobians, “he did not work”.
“Sonko is a very good and generous leader by the way, however, he was impeached because of his own personal differences with the state”.
The lawmaker classified Sakaja as a disastrous leader who does not know what is left from right, but only pilfers, steals and defrauds the county.
To defend his argument, Owino wondered why Sakaja boasts every day that he collects money in taxes which he hardly uses for development.
