Minority leader Junet Mohammed has taken issue with those who celebrated the defeat Raila Odinga suffered at the African Union Commission election held last Saturday in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Speaking in the Parliament today Tuesday, Junet noted that the kind of celebrations held in Nyeri County was total primitively and village mentality when a Kenyan in the name of Raila Odinga had lost the election to Djibourti candidate, Mahamoud Ali Youssouf.

Calling it a shame, MP Junet added that these kind of people are the one being impeached for their hate on some communities upto the international platforms.

“We impeach some people because of their conduct. They even used to tell us about shareholding as if we are children of a lesser God,” he fired.

The Raila key ally wondered what they expect when a Kenyan from Kikuyu community runs for anything and he is defeated on an international stage, “Do you expect me to celebrate?”
