Running a country has proved to be a tall order for this administration.
Kenyans are not only disgruntled but also confused as to whether they made the right choice or not on the ballot. Seemingly hoping that something may change in the coming days.
Many appointments are made in the government but no significant improvement on the ground. Yes, as we speak today, the shilling has improved against the world dollar but reached at 129 and stagnated – not very bad!
But as the government pretends to strengthen the shilling, on the other hand, it’s selfish on the circulation. There is no money in people’s pockets because the lending rates are so high and every struggling Kenyan is living on loans.
Any income a Kenyan records is channeled to Mshwari, Mpesa-KCB and Fuliza loan servicing. This is what has denied the country free circulation of the currency.
A good government should be working on making money available in people’s pockets. And maybe, am I the only one wrong? Am I holding a wrong observation? Didn’t they campaign on the platform of pesa mfukoni? Or was this another long con? As usual.
Only prayers and God could save us even as Millicent Omanga who is known to be close to powers that be, continues to flaunt high-end cars every after two months.
