Opposition Without Raila ni ‘Kalongolongo Tupu’

Chris Akali

There’s an interesting demand now in the opposition that it must unite to defeat President Ruto in 2027.

This is a very good start but the current group of opposition politicians cannot move anything from point A to B. They cannot lift even a spoon from the table plate to their own mouth. A complete waste of good Lord’s time.

Infact, I have been wondering how Martha Karua and Rigathi Gachagua will clique. How Kalonzo and Gachagua will unite and the vise versa.

How will the great Okiya Omtatah unite with king of tribalism Mr. Gachagua? Or ex-Chief Justice David Maraga to unite with billionaire Jimmy Wanjigi. Unite to where? Just heading to no where! Ask yourself who between Maraga and Gachagua will be the boss to another.

Too much jokes in the country is what makes William Ruto and Hon. Raila Odinga ever reign  supreme.

I would like to see the latest figures from recent opinion polls. Rate all these miscreants and let’s see how they handle their zero fame going forward. George Luchiri Wajackoyah alone can beat the said persons combined and at once.

Infact, Wajackoyah doesn’t need to campaign to be able to beat them. He doesn’t need to print a single poster or hold any rally anywhere.

If I was Kalonzo, I would have crossed over to the table that matters. You don’t leave a man you have supported three times climb promotions as you watch from the rainy forest. There is no legacy and honour in doing that.

Kalonzo must learn from Raila. Kenyans don’t care how good you are. When it reaches that time to rubbish you, they do it from morning to evening. Mercilessly! Kenyans are never thankful. They are eagerly and hungrily waiting for you to lose a step.

Kenyans don’t honour good people at all. When you do good, they turn you around and ask for another more good or they crash you the same day. Become rogue and you will be glorified as a hero forever.

Good example is Raila Odinga who, with all the good fights he has staged on behalf of the country, has, upto now, never been voted for. Instead, the same thankless Kenyans still want to misuse him. They want him back to misuse him more.
