Thursday, February 18, 2021 -Rarieda Member of Parliament Otiende Amollo has reduced the new four-man-formation led by Musalia Mudavadi and Kalonzo Musyoka to just a popularity show.

Amani National Congress ANC Party leader Musalia  Mudavadi, Ford Kenya’s Moses Wetang’ula, KANU Chairman Gideon Moi and Wiper’s Kalonzo have been holding rallies together with a promise to remain so upto and after the 2022 general election in a rare move which continues to fetch reactions from both their supporters and the rest of the country.

And on Thursday February 18 morning show on Citizen Tv, MP Amollo stated that the purported threat by the four to do something together was going to be one of the short lived associations in the history of the nation. He added that the four  were headed no where because the group will crumble immediately they will sit down to share slots.

He reasoned that most of the men in that formation all want to be presidents and forming any lasting thing together will remain just a mirage.

“The four (Gideon Moi, Moses Wetangula, Musalia Mudavadi & Kalonzo Musyoka) are all generals, they require field Marshall; who will be the leader? Those in whom we were with in NASA cannot make up their minds, NASA died, they cannot resurrect,” Amollo said.

Amollo, an ardent ODM Party MP, explained how every candidate in that formation has another rival candidate in their hometown what even complicates their ambitions more. For instance, Kalonzo may not deliver a lot because at his home, there are Governor Kivutha Kibwana and Alfred Mutua both who have declared interest in the top seat. Next, in Luhya land there are two guys Moses Weta ng’ula and Musalia Mudavadi who have never pulled together before and it will be a lie to expect this to happen now. To make this even difficult, Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi and Wycliffe Oparanya have also come on board.

“These men have to sought their local problems first before coming on the national table,” he added.

Subsequently, in Rift Valley, the math is too complex because Gideon Moi is yet to prove to anyone how he is capable of giving DP William Ruto a single sleepless night. There is also the Chama Cha Mashinani CCM Party leader Isaac Ruto who jostling to become something too.

Realistically, William Ruto is still a hard nut to crack in Rift Valley and also the second most powerful threat countrywide. It is therefore a pipe dream for anyone to think Ruto can allow to lose grip of the populous Rift Valley Region and this can easily be explained by the recent happening at the Baringo County Assembly where the BBI was blatantly rejected. The matter is  now in court.

Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo, Gideon and Wetag’ula can therefore be a hard sell for the 2022  contest. Further, it is also not possible to imagine how the four men can run a peaceful country when both Raila and Ruto are outside because, with this risk, the country may be ungovernable.
