Monday, March 1, 2021 -Political analyst Prof Herman Manyora has slammed Deputy President William Ruto saying he has started the dangerous gospel of – ‘being rigged out’.
In his long post about Ruto’s political future after the Building Bridges Initiative BBI passed the County Assembly stage, Mr. Manyora sensationally said Uhuru and Raila must start being careful because any win on their side might be turned into ‘rigging’ by their rival.
Manyora said this with regard to the utterances which the Deputy President and his allies made the moment BBI was endorsed by more than 40 County Assemblies.
Tangtanga team quickly claimed that Members of County Assemblies were bribed to pass the draft bill and when it passed, they too claimed the System rigged the polls.
Manyora has said this is the new dangerous start for Ruto’s opposition politics which can bring instability and chaos in 2022 and therefore there is need to control him this early.
The political commentator went on to state that after this BBI victory, both Raila and Uhuru should now invite serious civic education and campaigns partners to pick up the task of talking to every Kenyan. This will build a team and momentum for the 2022 race and finally render Mr. Ruto helpless ahead of his 2022 presidential stab.
“It looks like the passage of BBI is the final nail to Rutos coffin,” Manyora wrote on his timeline.
Manyora however, advised the DP to pick his advisers well and stop over relying on fellow politicians like Kipchumba Murkomen and MP Caleb Kositany who, just like any other politician, must put their interests first. He said politicians hang on Ruto’s coat for certain specific reasons.
