Tuesday, March 16, 2021 -National Management Committee NMC has finally decided to oust Deputy President William Ruto from his deputy party position.

News about this move was made available on Tuesday March 16 and now the dicission shall be forwarded to party leader Uhuru Kenyatta who chairs the National Executive Council NEC.

According to the Standard Digital, Mr. Ruto, among other things, is accused of sabotaging the ruling party through his newly formed outfit – the United Democratic Alliance UDA Party.

According to Raphael Tuju, the second most powerful organ of their party NMC had resolved to remove Ruto from that position for obvious and sufficient reasons which are in the public domain.

He defended that there was no way Ruto could be left to serve two interests –Jubilee and UDA – which also is against the electoral guidelines and could create unnecessary political conflict.

“The NMC discussed the matter and resolved to remove the DP as per the party constitution. The matter is active, we have the recommendations of NMC and now only waiting for the party leader to convene a NEC meeting to deliberate on the matter,” said Tuju.

At this level, Ruto’s final fate could be sealed by either Uhuru himself or the president could delegate the matter as was done to Murang’a Senator Irungu Kang’ata.

Ruto’s future in Jubilee Party now continues to diminish by day after all his allies were stripped off their party posts; one after another.

Speaking on the same, Jubilee Party Vice Chairman David Murathe who never sees eye to eye with the second in command concluded that their Jubilee Party NMC unanimously resolved to remove the DP.

“Jubilee party NMC resolved to remove the deputy party leader and the communication on way forward will be done by NEC,” he wrote.
