Tuesday, March 23, 2021 -Jubilee Party is mourning death of their Party Executive Director the late James Waweru who died today in Nairobi.

Confirming the saddening news, Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju mourned the late as a man who provided proper leadership for their party.

“He has been an embodiment of reason, always a voice of reason and a father figure who will be greatly missed,” partly read Tuju’s statement.

From his background, the diseased once served as a Provincial Commissioner PC and later as permanent secretary in the Mwai Kibaki’s two term administration.

He has left behind wife Cecilia Muthoni, sons Victor Waweru, Martin Murage and Ian Wamunyu. His daughters are Abi Murage and Eddah Waweru.

He will be remembered by many when he took over the role of party’s secretary general when Mr. Raphael Tuju was recovering from accident injuries in February 2020.

“May Almighty God grant his family, friends, and colleague’s courage to bear with the loss, and may He Rest in Peace,” Odinga mourned the late today Tuesday March 23.

Family has confirmed that the body of their kin is currently resting at Lee Funeral Home, Nairobi.
