Tuesday, March 23, 2021 -Deputy President William Ruto sent MP Oscar Sudi to meet his Kimilili counterpart who recently hinted on divorcing Tangatanga.
Photos of Oscar Sudi and Didmus Barasa today Tuesday surfaced online with confirmation that Sudi visited the legislator in his city office.
Mr. Sudi made it clear that his intention was to hear from the horses mouth about his decision to disappear from politics for four months in what hade been described as sabbatical leave.
“I paid courtesy visit to my friend Hon Didmas Barasa, Kimilili MP in his office earlier today…I however, requested him to reduce the four months to a lesser time. Let’s wait and see what he will decide,” Sudi stated.
When reached for a comment, MP Barasa defended that he has oflate been receiving delegation for important national and local matters.
“When they come we consult on a number of issues that are beneficial to the politics of the country nothing more. Nothing is strange here,” he said.
He also took the opportunity to demystify the notion that he had already joined the Musalia Mudavadi-led-Amani National Congress Party. This rumour started the moment he was spotted with Senator Cleophas Malala at an undisclosed location.
“If I were to do any consultations with ANC party, I would do it with Musalia Mudavadi himself, but not other parties,” he added.
Barasa topic became viral on Sunday March 21 when he announced plans to take a sabbatical leave from high octane politics so that he could focus his energy on development projects around his Kimililli area.
He also talked of championing for the elusive Mulembe unity ahead of the forthcoming elections.
