Thursday, March 25, 2021 -Narok Legislator Ledama Ole Kina has come out to defend that he is still an active ODM member contrary to public speculations.

He appeared to dismiss the myth that he had decamped to the newly formed United Democratic alliance UDA Party which is linked to DP William Ruto.

He faulted all those who want to bend statements to portray him as a man who was not loyal to his party leader Raila Odinga.

He also took issue with Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala who had started to claim that he(Ledama) had decamped to ANC.

ODM Party leader Raila Odinga.

“Some leaders should stop using other people to gain political mileage. They should emulate the late Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli. I have even wondered how people have started linking me with ‘Tangatanga’ and political camps for example Senator Malala who was lying to people on social media that we have agreed with him for me to join his camp. I want to confirm that I’m a member of ODM and I have not joined ANC or ‘Tangatanga’,” he said.

The Narok MP said whatever he does in politics should not be read out of context and that he is a firm leader who has always championed for his community’s needs and therefore he is obliged to speak on behalf of them.
