Monday, March 29, 2021 -Mama Sarah Obama will be buried on Tuesday March 30. Family has confirmed.
Family spokesperson Sheikh Musa Ismael Haji made the confirmation which he didn’t expound much.
Auma Obama, the lady who was captured boarding ‘the Beast’ with President Obama, has explained how much the elderly diseased was loved by everyone in their family.
In her Twitter message of Monday March 29, Ms Auma thanked everyone who had sent their condolence messages to the family following the death of her granny.
“To all of you sending messages, know that I am seeing them and am hearing you, you all. Just cannot reply to all. Thank you, thank you for your condolences! I feel your love and concern,” she tweeted.

While celebrating life of Mama Sarah, she termed the death event as heartbreaking since Sarah was a special pillar for the Obama generation.
“Just lost the most important person in my life – my gran, Mama Sarah. My heart is broken! But as I write, not able to stop the tears from pouring, I know I was blessed to have her for so long! My inspiration, my rock, my comfort, my safe space. Rest in Peace Dani”.
Sarah breathed her last while undergoing treatment at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital based in Kisumu County.
