Tuesday, April 6, 2021 -We are not apologizing to anyone for our decision. Deputy President William Ruto has told off those who have been linking him to the viral apology letter.
In the undated note which has been gracing the interweb, Ruto is said to have had an afterthought and wrote to his boss Uhuru apologizing for his string of mistakes in the government he also serves. The letter portrays Ruto as an apologetically erroneous leader.
But Ruto’s team who have spoken to the media today Tuesday April 6 have denounced the letter which they say was purely drafted by busybodies who have nothing important to focus their energies on.
In the report seen by homenews.co.ke, a Ruto aide downplayed the letter together with its contents which he termed as misleading.
“The letter is clearly doctored,” the aide reacted adding that the DP had much important national matters to work on than writing apologies.
From the contents of the said letter, Ruto can be seen agreeing to take full responsibility for failing their Jubilee administration through constant politics which deviated from their glowing manifesto.
The developments are coming at a time Ruto and his boss Uhuru Kenyatta cannot sit in the same meeting for anything. Their soured relationship has even reached a point where Ruto has decided to chant his own political path through a fall back party dubbed United Democratic Alliance UDA Party which he has been using to test waters in the many by-elections across the country.
And in March 2021, Jubilee National Management Committee unanimously agreed to eject Ruto from his deputy party position. They cited sabotage as part of Ruto’s many crimes in their party.
Further, this was preceded by removal of Soy MP Caleb Kositany from his Deputy Secretary General post which was immediately handed over to his clans man Joshua Kutuny also Cherangany legislator.
As events stand today, Jubilee Party’s wrangles have reached an irreparable stage where the two rival groups – Kieleweke and Tangatanga – hardly meet to discuss an agenda.
