Sunday, April 11, 2021 -Musalia Mudavadi’s ANC Party members now claim their Orange Democratic Movement counterparts are applying blackmail to force Uhuru to back Mr. Odinga for 2022.
According to the Amani National Congress ANC Party leadership, Raila Odinga and his ODM-allied-brigade are bulldozing Statehouse to get an endorsements.
Kelvin Lunami, the party chairman, today Sunday April 11, issued the controversial statement against ODM Party saying the recent meetings by Governor Oparanya were part of the political schemes Raila was using to trigger a reaction from Mr. Kenyatta.
“Also self-evident is the party’s duplicitous support for the handshake. It’s apparent that ODM never believed in the BBI byproduct unless it serves their selfishness,” Lunani stated.
Rumoured alliance between ODM Party and UDA Party of Ruto has in recent times changed the political dynamics in the country at the time BBI and Referendum was expected to take center stage.
However with betrayal claims, Odinga’s brigade warned their Handshake partners that they can abandon the BBI course to fully concentrate on succession politics. Orengo was first to fire the salvo before ODM Party Secretary General Edwin Sifuna asked Uhuru to channel any BBI funds to fighting Covid-19 pandemic.
As all these happens, BBI – a project of Uhuru and Odinga- now stands a high chance of being abandoned along the way.
